BOGNAR, Dorothy Jane - passed away peacefully on Friday December 21, 2007 at Northland Pointe at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Bognar. Loving mother of Karen (Jack) Olesen, Marc and Kevin. Nana of Alesha and Eric Olesen, Melissa, Melanie and Melody and Jason, Stephen and Amy and her 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Shirley Hook, William (Alda) Thompson, Alfred (Connie) Thompson and Dianne Harris. She was predeceased by her daughter Dana, her parents William and Alice Thompson and her sister Kathryn Huneault. Mrs Bognar worked at the Port Colborne General Hospital as a Registered Nurse for 38 years. Karen would like to thank Dr. Dewar and the staff of Portal Village, Northland Pointe, her friends and Dianne for their strength and support over the years. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the PORT COLBORNE CHAPEL of the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES 135 Clarence St. on Monday December 24 from 11:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. followed by a memorial service which will be held in the funeral home chapel.
