DEFAZIO, Francesca passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20 at 11 o'clock in the evening at Oakwood Park lodge at the age of one-hundred and one. Beloved wife of the late Paquale DeFazio (1977). Loving mother of 8 children, Joe & Colleen DeFazio, Nick & the late Irene Rizzi, Carmela & the late John Passanisi of California, Frank & Antonietta DeFazio, Louisa & Mike Potalivo, Annita & Vincent Cortese, Vincent & Jenny DeFazio of Niagara Falls, Tony & Kathie DeFazio of Burlington, Ont. She is survived by 24 grandchildren. Mark DeFazio, Mary Frances & Edward Broda, Isabella Rizzi, Joe Rizzi, Rick & Tohna Rizzi, Sam & Laura Passanisi, Frances & Chris Britt, Rose Passanisi, Pat Passanisi, Patrick DeFazio, Frances & Jim Bonnell, Christine & Jim Scott, Phyllis & Nick D'Ascenzo, Frances & John Foresi, William & Judy Potalivo, Maria & Frank Gallo, Frances Cortese, Rosanne McLaughin, Domenic & Barbara Cortese, Pat & Barbara Cortese, Mary Frances & John Rigon, Pat & Stephanie DeFazio, Daina & David Mounsey, Nicole & Mark Romkema and 32 great great grandchildren, The family of Francesca DeFazio would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Oakwood Park Lodge. Family will receive friends at NIAGARA FUNERAL HOME, 5647 Main Street on Sunday, Dec. 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
