MIGNONE, Vito - Passed away peacefully with his loving family and friends by his side at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, December 22, 2007, in his 78th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Maria (1991). Loving Papa of Frank, Lui, Rina (Rodney). Cherished Nonno of Michael, David and Alexandra. Special brother to Giuseppina (Pino) Caputo of Switzerland, and brother-in-law to Candida (Nicola) Castellano. Vito is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to the nurses in the Intensive Care Unit for all their compassionate care. Mr. Mignone is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., until Friday at 9:00a.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be held in St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. Following mass, entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Public visitation will take place on Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. If desired memorial donations made to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
