GALBRAITH, Edith - Peacefully at John Joseph Place in Owen Sound on Thursday December 20, 2007. In her 95th year, Edith Maria Galbraith (nee Traviss), beloved wife of the late Gordon Edward Galbraith. Loving mother of Jessie and her husband Elgin Vanwyck. Dear mother-in-law of Doreen (Mrs. William Galbraith). Loved grandmother of Bonnie (Mrs. Mark Perry), Stacie (Mrs. Shane Coburn), Arthur Galbraith, Melissa (Mrs. Sean Ireland) and Rodney VanWyck (Lori) and eight great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son William, a sister Gertrude (Mrs. Roy Miller) and a brother Bertram Traviss. Friends may call at the BRECKENRIDGE-ASHCROFT FUNERAL HOME on Sunday December 23 from 2 pm to 3 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 3 pm. Rev. Ted Creen officiating.
