Iris May KING

SCHWARTZ, Iris May - of Chesley, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 in her 83rd year. Even as her body grew weaker, she maintained her sense of humour and quick wit. Iris was born on June 24, 1925 in Waubaushene, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Herb and Annie Belle (Arbour) King. She married Morrell Schwartz on November 30, 1946, who predeceased her on April 18, 2007. Loving mother of Herb and Barb of Owen Sound, Ron and Marg of Kitchener and Steve and Nadine of Owen Sound. Cherished grandmother of Anne Marie, Teresa, Matthew, Amanda and Ryan. She will be fondly remembered by her sister, Joyce and her husband Red Simmons of Cornwall and sisters-in-law, Ruth and Stan Kaufman of Desboro and Gertrude and Arnold Heft of Owen Sound. Iris was predeceased by her sister, Kay Houghton. Visitation will be held at CAMERON FUNERAL HOME, Chesley on Friday from 6 - 9 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Branch #144 Ladies Auxiliary service will be held on Friday evening at 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Sullivan Township at 11 a.m. Spring interment St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Sullivan Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. 10939613
