HUOT, JEANNINE (nee Garant) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Welland Hospital W.W. on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Germain (Jerry) Huot (Nov. 19, 2007). Sister of Helen(Albe) Lamontagne, Isabelle (Late Armand) Lamontagne, Suzanne (Renaud) Turcotte, Lorraine (Raymond) Turcotte, Emilien (Joanne) Garant and Lucien Garant. Fondly remembered by her Godchildren Irene, Alain and Kelly, her nieces and nephews, and their children, as well as her many friends and relatives. “Tante Nine“ will be forever remembered by Kim and her boys, Derek and Dylan, and Kelly and her girls Olivia and Lindsay. Predeceased by her parents, Alphonse and Maria Garant, brother Jean-Guy Garant (Sept. 29, 2007), sister Lucille O'Hara (1990) and many in- laws. Jeannine retired from the Welland Hospital in 1991, after 26 years of service. She will be remembered by everyone for her love, compassion, kindness and caring. Many thanks to Dr. Daniel, Rev. Bond, 4th Floor and W.W. staff, Kim for being there for her everyday, and Roseline for her continued support. At Jeannine's request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Jeannine and Germain will be remembered by their family at a private ceremony. If so desired, a donation to the Welland Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. “You are finally free of pain.
