WHALEN, Richard Duane - 66, of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, entered into rest on Sunday, December 23, 2007 in Niagara Falls Hospital, Niagara Falls, Ontario. Born on August 27, 1941 in Olean, NY, he was the son of Eleanor (Weed) Whalen of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Howard Whalen. On September 26, 1980 he married the former Elizabeth ‘Betty' Lorraine Cummings. In addition to his mother and loving wife of twenty-seven years, Mr. Whalen is survived by one sister, Terry (Rory) Beahen of Niagara Falls, NY; his loving niece, Jennifer Beahen of Niagara Falls, NY and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services and burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, at the convenience of the family.
