SCOTT, Michael Walter After a valiant battle with esophageal cancer, Mike quietly left our lives on December 15, 2007 in Kars, Ontario at the age of 53 years. Best friend and loving spouse of Cathy (Kelly) Hall. Former husband of Gail (Brassard) Scott and proud father of Ryan and Amber Scott. Cherished brother of Joe, Nancy (Don), Mayme (Grant), Marj (Stephen) and Pat (Debra). Son of the late Walter and Inez (Carter) Scott. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Over his lifetime, Mike had many interests - motorcycles, ice racing, fishing, golf, and camping to name a few. He was always there for his family and friends and enjoyed nothing more than sharing stories, laughter, and good times with them. He will be remembered by many and missed by all. A special thank you to Dr. Koroniak, Dr. Tadros, Dr. Jonker, Carefor nurses Cathy Langtry and Linda Tolstoy, CCAC, and the wonderful staff at The Ottawa Hospital General Campus. Friends are invited to visit at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars, (East of Hwy 416) on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 15 Steeple Hill Cres., Nepean on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
