John DEER

DEER, John. 1930-2007. From Kahnawake, on December 17, 2007 at the age of seventy-seven years, suddenly passed away Mr. John Deer. He was a retired Iron Worker with local 711. He was predeceased by his parents James Deer and Bemie Stacey, his brother Thomas "Moose", his sister Florence and his former wife Muriel Delisle. He leaves his companion Elizabeth Deer, his 9 children Dana Leigh, James, Timmy, Franceen, Kristen, Laurie, Celia, Louise and Sterling, his 28 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences from Wednesday, December 19 at 7 p.m. at Poissant & Deer Funeral Home, Old Malone Highway, Kahnawake, 450-632-7749, www.poissantanddeer.ca .
