NIDDRIE, Douglas. 1918-2007. Passed away peacefully on December 18, 2007 at the Lakeshore General Hospital. Beloved spouse of the late Margaret Niddrie (nee Hollett). He leaves behind his children Pamela (Keith), Margaret (Ted) and Stewart (Mari), his grandchildren Donna (Steven), Joel (Carrie), Justin (Kristina), Jenny and Simone, his great-grandchildren Sean and Larsen, as well as other relatives and dear friends. Douglas was a proud veteran of WWII. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, (514) 685-3344. His family will receive condolences one hour prior to the ceremony. Donations in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
