WHITE, William Lloyd (Captain Ret.) February 14, 1920-December 17, 2007 Decorated WWII & Korean Veteran of 24 Years with the Royal Canadian Artillery & Royal Canadian Postal Corp. Orders Decorations and Medals: 1939 - 1945 Star Italy Star Defence Medal Canadian Volunteer Service Medal & Clasp War Medal 1939 - 1945 Korean Medal United Nations Service Medal Queen Elizabeth 11 Coronation Medal 1953 Canadian Efficiency Medal Canadian Forces Decoration & Clasp He fought his final battle the way he lived his life with honour, integrity and dignity. He now joins his beloved wife of 64 years Florence, and his eldest daughter Heather. He is survived by his youngest daughter Karen, son-in-law Eugene, Grandson Christopher wife Tracy, Great-Granddaughters Raven & Sierra, Grandson Marc & special friend Maeve. He will be greatly missed by his life long friend Harry Holdum, Ottawa. Nephew Gordon Muncey (Judy), Montreal. Niece Pat (David) and their family in England and Germany. He will be greatly missed by his special friend Aleida Trudell, Belleville, and his friends at 60 Bridge Street West & the Trillium 2000 Club. He will be forever missed by his special friends Trudy & Charles Crowe Belleville, Hazel Dauphin, Edmonton, Alberta, Robert & Rosemary McLeod & Family Calgary Alberta. A special thank you goes to his long time friend, confidant and Golfing buddy, Dr. Liam Hayes, Belleville. A Place will be for ever in his heart for Canon Micheal Oulton, Rev. Dr. Barbara Robinson and his numerous friends at Christ Anglican Church. A very special thanks to Dr. Kinard & the staff of Belleville General Hospital, QHC 5th Floor & especially the 3rd Floor WCA-3. A memorial service will be held at Christ Anglican Church, 39 Everett Street, Belleville, Ontario on January 5th, 2008 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Christ Church Building Fund, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the Family.
