SALTER, Mary Evelyn (nee Dunn) At the Smiths Falls Hospital, with her family by her side on December 21, 2007, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Acile Salter (Ace). Loving mother of Richard (Barb) Salter of Ottawa, Nancy (John) Weston of Athens, Mary (Lee) Horning, Rae Salter (Lyne Gratton) of Merrickville, and Cheryl (Cameron) Findley of Perth. Dear sister-in-law of the late Merlin Salter, Keith (Louise) Salter, Jean Giff (the late Bob), Mary Cass (the late Ray) and the late Lois (the late Eddie Tudor) of Ottawa. Dear sister of Gertrude (the late Maurice) Huot of Ottawa, and predeceased by sister Lilian (the late Paul) St. Gelais and brother John Dunn. Cherished grandmother of Wayne McKenzie, Kim (Steve) McDougall, Steven (Wendy) Salter, Marc (Renee) Salter, Paul (Alex) Horning, Robert (Lynne) Horning, Melanie (Mark) Melanson, Melissa (Kevin) Thom, Ryan (Leanne) Salter, Jordan (Sara) Salter, Justin and Sophie Salter. Much loved great-grandmother of Krista and Adam McKenzie, Owen and Caleb Salter, Liam Salter, Taylor and Peyton Horning, Cassie and Colton Harvey. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church on Monday, December 24, 2007, at 10 a.m. In memory of Evelyn, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
