PAGE, Irene May (Johnson). Passed away quietly in Cowansville, Quebec, on December 13, 2007, at age eighty-four following a brief illness. Predeceased by her husband of fifty years (minus three to five for bad behaviour), James S. Page. She is survived by her sons James R. Page of Victoria, British Columbia, and David Page of Ottawa, Ontario; her daughter-in-law Judy Bernstein (wife of David); and her two grandchildren Greg and Becki. She also leaves her brothers John, Leslie, and Ed, and her sister Florence. Mom valued people, not possessions, and so her life was filled with love - from her family and from her many friends. She will be missed by all. Thanks, Mom, for showing us how to be a human being in the world; that meant something. At Irene's request no memorial will be held. Cremation and private burial to take place in Montreal at a later date. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 12/22/2007
