HEANEY, Donald Paul. At the Lakeshore General Hospital on December 24, 2007 in his seventy-eigth year. Predeceased by his parents Percy Heany and Gertrude Sullivan, and his brother Gerald. Survived by his sister Maureen Forrester and his sister-in-law Viola Heaney. Treasured uncle to Susan (Christophe), Anne (Michel), Stephen (Liette), Michael, Maureen (Michael), and great-uncle of nine. Donald had a love of sports both as a player and a fan and enjoyed travelling. Visitation at Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass at the St. Patrick's Basilica (460 Rene-Levesque West) on Friday, December 28 at 10 a.m. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 12/27/2007
