OBITUARY STANLEY C. McROBERT 1933-2007 Passed away in Mont Tremblant, suddenly on December 24, 2007, at the age of seventy-four years, son of the late Stanley Boyd McRobert and Laurette Bruneau. Cherished and beloved husband of Laurie Demcoe. Loving father to David (Sue Humphrey), Lisa, Charles and Jennifer and dear grandfather to Amanda, Dylan, Alex, Natalie, Emily and Alexandra. Stan will also be remembered by his sister Marilyn Harrold, his nieces and nephew, and his many friends both in Montreal and Mont Tremblant. A professional engineer, graduating from McGill University, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Farr Inc., in Laval for many years until he retired in 1999. He was past Chairman of the Montreal Section, Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and member of the Montreal Rotary Club. He enjoyed car racing, skiing, tennis, golf, boating and photography. Stan was a warm and kind individual who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends will be received at Guay Funeral Parlor, 974 Vanchesteing, Mont Tremblant (St. Jovite), Thursday, December 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Saint Bernard Chapel, Mont Tremblant, at 11 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2007. Family will also receive condolences at the chapel from 10 a.m. A private burial will be held in Chateauguay.
