Elsie Peltonen , of Kapuskasing Death: February 2nd, 2004 Elsie Peltonen, Kapuskasing, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on Feb. 2, 2004. She was 65 years old. Mrs. Peltonen was born on May 27, 1938 in Pagwa River and has been a resident of Kapuskasing for almost 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, cook-outs, going out for drives and spending time with her family. Mrs. Peltonen was predeceased by her parents Minnie and David Iserhoff and sister Anita Cameron. She is survived by husband Erik, daughters Jennifer (Chris) Kimber of Newmarket and Karen Peltonen of Richmond Hill and sons Jason of Ottawa and James of Toronto. Also surviving are brother Lawrence Iserhoff of Thunder Bay, sisters Emily (Gilbert) Ferris of Longlac, Mina (Dave) Hauck of Newmarket, Irene Wesly of Calstock, Sylvia Iserhoff of Toronto, Louisa (Albert) Rueben and Hellen (Mike) Desrochier, all of Longlac; and three grandchildren. Cremation at the Hillcrest Crematorium. Pastor Marcel Chénier will officiate a memorial service to celebrate her life on Feb. 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Church. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral director was the Génier-Thomson Funeral Home, Kapuskasing. Published on February 4th, 2004
