Noël OUIMET

Noel Ouimette, of Kapuskasing Death: February 26th, 2004 Noël Ouimette, 8 Brunelle Rd. North, Kapuskasing, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on Feb. 26, 2004. He was 74 years old. Mr. Ouimette was born on Dec. 12, 1929 in Val Rita. He worked as an operator for Spruce Falls. He was an honourary member of the Knights of Columbus and a volunteer with Notre Dame des Victoires Parish. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching hockey. Mr. Ouimette was predeceased by his parents Aimé and Blanche and brothers Ernest and Marcel. He is survived by his wife Antoinette, sons Marcel (Jeannine Carrière), Daniel (Carole), Claude, and Roland (Diane), all of Kap and daughter Rollande (Robert) Cloutier of Mattawa. Also surviving are brothers René and Jean-Paul of Val Rita and Léo of Kap, sister Yvonne Rodrigue of Kap, 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Fr. Robert Tremblay officiated at the funeral service on Mar. 1, 2004 at Notre Dame des Victoires Church. Mr. Ouimette will be interred at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral director was the Guenette Funeral Home. Published on March 3rd, 2004
