S. Gregory Mulherin 1919-2008 Au Manoir de Grand-Sault, le dimanche 6 janvier 2008, à l'âge de 88 ans, est décédé S. Gregory Mulherin, époux de feu Noreen Littlewood, domicilié à Grand-Sault. Né à Grand-Sault en 1919, il était fils de feu Thomas Mulherin et de feu Mae Sullivan. Employé retraité du ministère provincial de l'agriculture, M. Mulherin était vétéran de la deuxième guerre mondiale et membre de la légion royale canadienne, filiale 21 de Grand-Sault. Il laisse dans le deuil sa fille, Patricia Vaillancourt (Mike) de Freeport, Maine, deux fils, Gregory de l'Allemagne et David (Dorina) de Quispamsis, quatre petits-enfants, deux arrière-petits-enfants, deux soeurs, Betty Stark de Toronto et Colleen Brown de Laval, Québec, deux frères, Doug (Edna) de Plaster Rock et Brian (Joanne) de Guelph, Ontario, belle-soeur, Noëlla "Toodie" Mulherin de Grand-Sault, ainsi que des neveux et nièces. Il a été précédé par deux frères, Donald et Kent. La dépouille mortelle est exposée au salon Guy O'Regan, 515, boul. Everard Daigle à Grand-Sault. Ses funérailles auront lieu le mercredi 9 janvier à 11h en l'église de l'Assomption de Grand-Sault, et l'inhumation au cimetière Union de Grand-Sault. Les heures des visites seront le mardi de 14h à 16h, et de 19h à 21h et le mercredi de 9h30 jusqu'au départ pour les funérailles. GREGORY - At the Grand Falls Manor Veterans' Wing, January 6, 2008, Mr. S. Gregory Mulherin of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 88 years. He was the husband of the late Noreen Littlewood. Born at Grand Falls in 1919, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mae (Sullivan) Mulherin. Retired from the provincial Department of Agriculture, Mr. Mulherin was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 21. He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Vaillancourt (Mike) of Freeport, Maine; two sons, Gregory of Germany and David (Dorina) of Quispamsis; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Stark of Toronto and Colleen Brown of Laval, Quebec; two brothers, Doug (Edna) of Plaster Rock and Brian (Joanne) of Guelph, Ontario; sister-in-law, Noella "Toodie" Mulherin of Grand Falls; as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Kent. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. His funeral will be held Wednesday, January 9th at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Union Cemetery, Grand Falls. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion will meet for prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. For those who wish, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Grand Falls Manor Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family. www.oregans.ca January 07, 2008
