Marie GAUDET

Marie Brine 1918-2008 SHEDIAC, NB - Marie Brine, 89, wife of the late Edgar Brine of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Shemogue passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the Villa Providence. Born in Cap-Pelé, January 25, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Sara (Landry) Gaudet. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, two daughters, Jeannine Léger (Émeric) of Cap-Pelé, Bernice (William Fels) of Florida; one sister, Rita Landry of Cap-Pelé; one brother, Émile Gaudet (Simone) of Dieppe; three grandchildren, Parise, Serge, Gaëtan; four great grandchildren, François, Véronique, Isabelle, and Maël; and by several nieces and nephews who were very special to her. She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar (1995); one sister, Bella; and by four brothers, Julien, Aurèle, Gérard and Antoine Gaudet. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Brine was employed with Landry Landry Ltd. She was a past member of the Shemogue Golden Age Club and Légion de Marie. Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Monday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 1 p.m. until departure at 2:10 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Saint-Timothée Roman Catholic Church, Shemogue. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Timothée Cemetery Fund or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
