STEWART, JEAN ROBERTA (BUNNELL) THOMPSON (AUNTIE BERT) - Passed away on Tuesday, January 8th, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Willard and Jean (Gibson) Bunnell, wife of the late Stewart Thompson and Ian A. Stewart. Roberta was involved in the TAOIST Tai Chi Society, Lancaster Diamonds, and the UCW Saint Mark's United Church. She attended Fairville Superior School and was later a graduate of Saint John High School in 1942. She is survived by her niece, Stephanie (Paul) Martin; aunts, Shirley (Gibson) Brown and Ethel (Gibson) Forgey; and uncle, Doug Gibson. Besides her parents and husbands she is predeceased by her sister, Marilyn Lightstone and uncle, George Gibson. Resting at Castle Funeral Homes, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) visitation will take place on Thursday, January 10th, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held from Castle Funeral Home on Friday, January 11th, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations in memory of Roberta may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. January 10, 2008
