Edna E. Steeves Edna E. Steeves, 92 of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Douglas Avenue, Moncton, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Born in Miminegash, PE she was the daughter of the late William and Ella Mae (Costain) Costain. Edna was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. (17 years), UIC and Canada Post (retired 1978). She was a member of Highfield St. Baptist Church, her interests included Christian Women's Club, Laura Lee Bustin WMS, Agapa Sunday School Class, Young at Heart Group and former board member of Steeves Family Inc. Edna will be sadly missed by her son, Harry (Beth), Moncton; grandchildren, Jeffrey Steeves (Susan), Moncton, Karla Vigneault (Robert), Ottawa, ON; great grandchildren, Kameron, Ashton; several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lewis T. Steeves (1980); brothers and sisters, Hazel, Fern, Major, Verna, Roland, Fredric. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday, 7 to 9. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, January 4, 2008, 1:30 pm, Rev. Jonathan Steeper officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Curryville Cemetery.
