Treva H. Christie Treva H. Christie 80, wife of the late Gordon B. Christie (Tuesday, December 25, 2007) of Indian Mountain passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 after a brief illness. Born in Stilesville, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Roberta (Sherwood) Trites. Treva was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who enjoyed entertaining and having people at her home. She had a great love for reading all newspapers and kept up on world events. However, first and foremost was her love for her family and how proud she was of her grandchildren. Treva will be sadly missed by her daughters, Judy Renton (Harvey), Wheaton Settlement, Darby Welner (Dean), Moncton, Lana Godin (Zoel), Indian Mountain; sons, Dan (Chris), Indian Mountain, David (Sherry), Lutes Mountain; grandchildren, Samantha, Dan, Travis, Deveren, Kortny, Jesse, Ross; son-in-law, John Ferguson Moncton; sisters, Neta Trites (late Curtis), Lutes Mountain, Fielda Hicks (Herb), Indian Mountain; brother, Carl Trites (Leenie), Indian Mountain; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband Gordon, she was predeceased by her son, Bill (May 1980); daughter, Janis ( December 2003). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Saturday, 2-4, 7-9. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, January 6, 2008, 1:30 pm, Pastor Dale Thistle officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Stilesville Cemetery.
