Viola Marie MAILLET

Viola Marie Maillet 1935 - 2008 Viola Maillet passed away at her Moncton residence on Friday, January 4th, 2008. Born in Moncton, March 28th, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Celina (Duguay) Maillet. Viola retired from NB Tel following many years of service, she was a member MacMullinof the NB Telephone Pioneers, and attended Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda of Halifax; son David MacMullin (Linda) of Moncton; grandchildren, Guy LeBlanc, Sandie Brown, Derek MacMullin, Tracy MacMullin; siblings Jean MacKinnon, Irene Maillet, Robea (Edward) Meunier, Ivan (Agnes) Maillet, Diane (John) Frazier, Robert (Pauline) Maillet, Yvette Maillet, Leona Maillet, Leonard Maillet; her former husband John "Jackie" MacMullin; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her second husband Malcolm "Mitch" Mitchell and 2 siblings in infancy. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, January 6th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, with sharing of memories and parish prayers at 8:30 pm. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 11:00 am Monday, January 7th, Father Phil Mulligan presiding. A reception for Viola's family and friends will follow the service in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
