BETTS, EDNA BEATRICE The death of Edna Beatrice Betts of Old Avon, NB occurred Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Northforks, NB she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Irene (Thompson) Knox. Survived by a son, Aaron Betts (Judy) of Darthmouth, NS; a daughter, Heather Cormier (Arthur) of Minto, NB; two grandchildren, Wesley Cormier and Sherry Cormier; two great grandchildren, Kandace Cormier and Hunter (Miller) Cormier; special canine friend, Chopper; half brothers, Alton Knox (Brenda) of Salmon Creek, NB and Fred Knox (Dianne) of Minto, NB; step sister, Donna Chase (Winston) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Edna was predeceased by her husband, Goldie Betts in 2004; a son, Paul Betts. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visiting on Sunday evening from 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, December 24th, 2007 from the Parker Memorial Chapel with Pastor K. Austin officiating.
