Gunther "Heinz" Muehe February 20, 1929 - April 07, 2004 Gunther Heinz Muehe was born February 20, 1929 in Berlin, Germany. He passed away on April 7, 2004 after a month of illness at the Health Sciences Hospital. He loved to be called Heinz. Heinz is survived by his wife Helen; his son Michael and wife Kim and granddaughter Alannah; sister Margot and her husband Arvid. Heinz and Helen immigrated to Canada in 1959. He worked later as a plumber, the trade he learned in Germany. In his free time he enjoyed making music with other musicians from the young age of 16 for dancing. Heinz loved the outdoors, nature and fishing. He will be missed by lots of friends. Funeral service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Chapel, 4477 Main Street, on Wednesday, April 14 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare, 675 McDermot Ave., RM ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
