At Ste Anne de Bellevue Veteran's Hospital on December 15, 2007 passed away at ninety years old surrounded by his children. Veteran of WW II, son of the late Demytro Kukura and Anna (Ewaschuk), predeceased by his first wife Mary Beniuk mother of his children, his brother Mike and sister Stella McComber. Will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sybil Legrand, his children Nicholas (Monique Desjardins), William (Donna Clifford) and Andrea (Rene Desjardins), his brother Edward (Olga Kolach), his sister Kathleen Baylis (Roberto), his grandchildren Douglas and Tina, his step grandchildren Marcel and Pierre Proulx (Irma Riquelme) and his step great-granddaughter Melissa. Also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Dad was very involved with the Livingston United Church as a Stewart, a choir member and as a Sunday school teacher. He was also a proud member of the Montreal Elgar Choir and participated for many years with his family at the International YMCA where he was an advisory board member. The family will receive condolences at 1255 Beaumont, TMR, on Wednesday, December 19 from 2 to 10 p.m. and on Thursday, December 20 from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Liturgy at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
