McNEIL, Russell Retired Canadian Forces RCD and ReMe Royal Canadian Legion Pembroke Br. #72 Korean War Veterans Association Suddenly on Thursday December 20, 2007 in his 79TH year. Russ McNeil of Petawawa, beloved husband of the late Eileen McNeil (nee Sennett). Dearly loved father of Perry McNeil, Shawville, Kim Pettigrew (Perry), Nassau, Jennifer Humphries (Tom), Tracy Boone (Wes), both of Calgary, Jamie-Honda McNeil (Hiromi), Edmonton, Melissa Jones (Bruce), Pembroke, Melinda Kerr (Steve), Calgary and Jason McNeil (Lisa), Petawawa. Loving pappy to 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brother of Charlie McNeil (Pat), Sask and Carmen Currie (John), Red Deer AB and the late Marie Bennett (late Arthur) and Johnny McNeil. Brother-in-law of Mabel McNeil. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday December 26, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A time of remembrance and special music will take place at the Murphy Funeral Home Wednesday evening at 8:00 A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday December 27 in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Petawawa at 10:30 a.m. (Members of R.C.L. # 72 and the K.V.A. will meet at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.) Interment St. Columba's Cemetery.
