Gwendolyn "Gwen" Maud Merritt (née Slade) December 21, 1922 - April 09, 2004 MERRITT Suddenly at her home on Friday, April 9, 2004, Mrs. Gwendolyn Merritt (nee Slade) of London in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Webb Merritt (1999). Loving mother of Stan and his late wife Carole, Raymond and his wife Sandra, Shirley Joyce and her late husband Michael, Pam Carmichael and her husband Martyn. Dear grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 21. Predeceased by 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Gwen will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Family and friends will be received at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas St. E., (at Wavell) on Sunday, April 11, 2004, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
