GANNON, Kathleen - 1913 - 2007 - The family announces with great sorrow her death on Friday December 28, 2007 at the Golden Manor at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her husband Patrick Gannon in 1987, her son Lorne Gannon and by two brothers Harold and John Nolan. She is survived by her children Edmond Brian Gannon (Candice) of Timmins, Robert Gannon (Linda) of Winnipeg, Terry Gannon (Rosemarie) of Ottawa, Patricia Anne Gannon of Timmins and Kathy Gannon (Pasha) of Pakistan, her grandchildren Shane, Maureen, Angela, Steven, Patrick, Brian, Maire, Michael, Sarah and Maegan, her great-grandchildren Kathleen, Mary, Emily, Rowan, Hannah, Sophie, Sam and Brooke, her sister Genevieve Bertrand (Rolland) and her brother Patrick Nolan (Agnes) both of Ottawa. In her early years, she was a teacher in low Quebec. Married and moved to Timmins in 1941. Mrs. Gannon was an active lifelong member of the Church of Nativity and very involved with her community including Meals on Wheels. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home chapel. Cremation will follow. Remembrance donations to the St. Martin de Porres would be greatly appreciated.
