RACYS, Mrs. Katherine E. - In Loving Memory of Katherine E. Racys. Katherine passed away with her husband by her side on Thursday December 27th, 2007, at the Golden Manor Home For The Aged in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Vaclovas Racys. Loving mother of Joanna Racys of Mississauga and David (Cheryl) Racys of Windsor . Cherished grandmother of Chad (Natalie) Parnell. Dear greatgrandmother of Shaelagh Parnell. Treasured sister of Tony (Win) Klotawy of Burnaby, B.C. Predeceased by her daughter Christine and son-in-law William along with her sister Mary Dasilash . Katherine was born in Cobalt and had been a lifetime resident of the Porcupine Camp having been employed by Sears Canada for over 20 years. Remembrance donations made to St. Joachim's Church Memorial Fund will be greatfully acknowledged by the family. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held at Paroisse St. Joachim's Church on Monday December 31st, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Mitch Sliwa officiating, assisted by Deacon Michel Neron. The family will receive friends at STINSON FUNERAL HOME on Sunday December 30th, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Prayers will be recited Sunday at 3:00pm in the funeral home.
