Ivy May GARRETT

GARRETT, Ivy May - Ivy's journey through life ended peacefully at Fairwinds Lodge, Sarnia, January 13, 2008. Born in Bristol, England on September 15, 1921, Ivy immigrated to Canada in 1947 with her young family, making Sarnia her home for the next 60 years. Survived by her children Sylvia Blain, Kay (Jim Mott), Rex (Marnie), Paul (Ann), Susan (John Macintyre), Michael (Wanda) and Cindy. Also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great- grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Reginald Rex, grandson Jimmy Mott and son-in-law Ray Blain. Ivy devoted her life to raising her children and was attentive, loving and proud of all members of her extended family. She was involved in the Sarnia Girl Guide organization for many years. A special thanks to her friends at Fairwinds. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A private service will be held.
