MAIDMAN, Frederick George - At Bluewater Health - Mitton St. Site, Sarnia on Sunday January 13, 2008. Frederick George Maidman age 82 yrs. of Courtright. Beloved husband of 57 years to Doris. Loving father of Lorraine Gordon (Ken Noble) of Sarnia. Dear grandfather of Dawn Haley (Brian) of St. Thomas and Keith Gordon (Heather) of Sedgwick, Alberta. Also survived by his great-grandchildren; Alissa, Kyle, Lily, Aimee and Cecily and by his sister Betty Green of Sarnia. Fred served in the Merchant Marines during WWll and retired from Fibreglass after 30 years of service. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have helped Fred through the years including Veterans Affairs, L.E.O., C.C.A.C. and the Staff at Bluewater Health - Mitton St. Emergency. At Fred's request cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the charity of one's choice.
