James Edward Chaulk May 12, 1939 - April 13, 2004 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father Ed on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital, following a short illness. He was predeceased by his father Matthew in 1957; mother Mary in 1987; sister Beverley in 2000; and beloved mother-in-law Isabelle Bethell in 2001. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Marilyn; his sons Rob and Mark; nephew Brett Yates of Henderson, Nevada. Ed was born in Winnipeg, MB on May 12, 1939. He graduated from Daniel Mac Collegiate in 1958. He was employed by the Manitoba Telephone System for 35 years, retiring in 1995. Ed’s life revolved around his family and close friends. He particularly enjoyed all his years at the family cottage at Hillside Beach. He was an avid sports fan. He was able to spend many summers golfing and marshalled at Tuxedo Golf Course for the past three years. He was a particularly loyal fan to his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff and resident Fred Ball of St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. A service and reception to celebrate the life of Ed will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM
