Jack Leidl, peacefully, at Rockwood Terrace, Durham, on Saturday, January 12, 2008, at the age of 77. Jack is survived by his wife Ellen Olesen; son Barry (BJ) and his wife Nancy (Fazzari) of Guelph; granddaughters Spencer, Jordan and Camryn; grandsons Dylan and Quintin; stepdaughter Cheryl (Robertson) and her husband John Biel of Guelph and granddaughter Samantha Becker; and stepson Jeff Robertson of Markdale. Also survived by sisters Erna, Tee and Joan and brother Wink and their families. Predeceased by five brothers and one sister. At Jack's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held in Guelph at a later date. A memorial will also be held in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia on his birthday and anniversary, Friday, July 18, 2008.
