PHILLIPS, Leslie Edward - It is with sorrow that we announce the passing away peacefully of Leslie Edward Phillips (age 57) Sunday January 13, 2008 at his residence in Walford. Beloved husband of Esther M. Phillips, loving father of Diane, Michelle, Tyra, Amanda and Henry Wuorinen. Cherished grandfather of seven and great granddad of one. Leslie is survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and cousins. Born in Walford, Leslie was also a local business person who will be missed by many acquaintances and friends in this area. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Walford Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to either the Spanish Medical Clinic or to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by his family.
