PRENDERGAST, Jacqueline (nee Desbiens) - Peacefully, after a long and courageous struggle, Jackie passed away on Wednesday January 16, 2008. Jackie was the beloved wife of Vic; they were very blessed to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in June 2007. She was the proud mother of Lyse (Paul Healey), Doug, Diane and John (Shelly), and grandmother of Meagan, Marianna, Patrick and Julia. Predeceased by her cherished sister Paulette. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 9 Waverly St. on Saturday January 19, 2008 at 11 am, followed by a reception in the church hall. Donations in Jackie's memory may be made to the Brantford General Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice. The family extend special thanks to Dr. Donna Allen for her ongoing competence, concern and high quality of care over the past six years.
