PERRON, Adrien - It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Adrien Joseph Perron, at his home in Astorville, on Friday, January 18, 2008 at the age of 84. Adrien was the loving husband of Rolande (née Ouellette) and beloved father of Emile (Lorraine), Louis deceased (Nicole), Anita (Maurice Cléroux), Pierre (Kim) and Aline (Jamie Coote). He was the cherished “Pépère” of 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and the dear brother of Henriette Rochefort, Lina Ouellette, Aurel, Rhéal, Arnel and Ronald. Predeceased by his parents, Henri and Emma Perron and by his brothers, Alcide, Hector and Camille and one sister, Lucienne Cantin. Adrien was extremely devoted to his family and his happiest moments were spent with his children and grandchildren. “Jock” was the owner of “Perron's Red & White” in North Bay for 25 years. He loved fishing and the outdoors and was well known throughout the commuinity as a hard working man whose wood-working projects now grace the home of many. Adrien will be remembered as a wise and generous man. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
