IBEY, Leyden - Died at the North Bay General Hospital - Scollard Site, on Saturday, January 12, 2008. Leyden Ibey, was the beloved husband of the late Helen Lund, he was 69 years old. Loving father of Todd Ibey (Donna Dooley) of Yellowknife, Linda Therien of North Bay and Kori Ibey (Diane Bloomer) of Callander. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tara Leigh, Karissa, TC, Jessica, Kodi and Sara. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Hazel Ibey and by his sister Debra Ford. Leyden worked for many years with Ontario Hydro in Northern Ontario as a Power Turbine Mechanic. Respecting Leyden's wishes there will be cremation at the Forest Lawn Cemetery and Crematorium, followed by a Private Family Service. If desired, donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation, The Canadian Diabetes Association or the North Bay General Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
