WILEY, June Avril - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of June, in her 72nd year, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, December 29, 2007. Beloved wife of Clair. Deeply loved daughter of Beatrice Gardell. Loving mother of Shelley-Ann (Doug Haynes), Julie-Ann (Brian Pol) and Jonathon (Sandra). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Amanda, Trevor, Bruin, Olivia, Sawyer and Brooklyn. Also survived by her brother Gary (Denise). June was a graduate of Mack Nursing School in September of 1958 and she had nursed at both the St. Catharines General and Hotel Dieu Hospitals. In her senior years she had received her BA with Distinction from Brock University, June 14, 2001. She was a true lover of life. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St., on Thursday 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, January 4th, at 1 pm.
