MacMILLAN, James “Stephen“ - 54, West Chezzetcook, passed away in Dartmouth General Hospital on December 30, 2007. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Dolores (Cormier) and the late James MacMillan. Stephen worked at Dartmouth Marine Slips for a number of years. He was also a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed carpentry, hunting, clam digging and lending a helping hand to family and friends. He also enjoyed time at the camp and especially spending quality time with his family. Surviving are wife, Charlene (Bellefontaine) MacMillan; sons, James (Chrissy), Shawn (Terra), Craig (Karen); sisters, Betty (John) Pratley, Dolly (Gord) Cooke; brothers, John, Alex (Wanda), Bob (friend Mike), Rick (Jill); Beloved grandchildren, Katie, Adam, Jake, Dakota, Marissa, and Owen; several nieces and nephews, and uncle, Richard. He was predeceased by brother, George. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was held Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in ATLANTIC FUNERAL HOME, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Memorial service will be held today at 10 a.m. in St. Anselms Roman Catholic Church, West Chezzetcook, Father Darius officiating. Burial in the church cemetery with a reception to follow in the church hall. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.
