RIX, Alice Elizabeth - After a lengthy illness, Alice Rix in her 95th year, has finally passed peacefully into the Lord's arms at Bella Senior Care Residence surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband of 75 years Edward Rix, Alice is survived by her devoted daughters Beverley Allan and Linda Rix (Rick Gay). She was a loving nana to grandsons John Kiemele of Markham, Steven Kiemele (Heather), Robert Allan, David Allan of Florida and Andrew Allan (Darla). She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Cameron Kiemele and Nathan Allan. Alice is at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street where her family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lundy's Lane Cemetery. In memory of our mother and nana, in lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Niagara Support Services. Special thanks go to the amazing staff at Bella Senior Care Residence for their care of our mother and nana during the past three years, as well the kind and compassionate palliative care extended to all of us in her last days.
