George Joseph McLaughlin July 27, 1918 - April 19, 2004 (Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #80, Midland, Knights of Columbus, Laurier Council #2004 and retired member of the Grey and Simcoe Foresters). Passed away at the Huronia District Hospital, Midland on Monday April 19th, 2004. George J. McLaughlin of Midland, in his 86th year. Beloved son of the late John and Irene McLaughlin. Dear brother of Hope Magloughlin, Kay Henderson, Sheila and her husband Doug all of Midland and the late J.J., Basil and Robert McLaughlin. Brother-in-law of the late Albert Magloughlin and Bill Henderson. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Ave., Midland on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret's Church, Midland on Friday April 23rd at 10 a.m. Interment later at St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanguishene. Memorial donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Parish prayers will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. A Legion service will be conducted on at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
