Mr. L.G.H. Larry "Larry-Jimmy or Doc" Lamoureux August 29, 1925 - April 18, 2004 Lamoureux – L.G.H. (Larry). Born August 29, 1925 in Lamoureux, Alberta. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Father, Grandfather and Husband. Larry leaves to mourn his passing- his wife, Audrey; daughters, Lauria Anne (Mark), Jacqueline and son, Paul; one Brother, Richard (of Edmonton); sisters, Rose–Marie Stephensen (Charles of Victoria), Pauline Coffin (William) and Annette (of Alberta) grandchildren; Clifford, Leslie, Markus and Benjamin. Pet – names “Larry, Jimmy, Doc.” Predeceased by his mother Ida McAdie in 1973. Larry spent 25 years and retired in the Royal Canadian Navy as a P.O. , 15 years as an orderly at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, sang in the Glee Club at St. Andrew’s Cathedral, and the choir at St. Joseph’s Parish. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch#172. “LOVING SERVANT AND GENEROUS BEYOND MEASURE” Prayers will be offered at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 785 West Burnside Road, Victoria, B.C. on Friday, April 23, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Joe McArdle and Reverend Bernard Hanley celebrants. Following the service, a reception will be held in the church hall, concluding with interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens , Colwood, B.C. God has called our beloved father back to him Now at rest; singing powerful and glorious, In the heavenly choir Where he will be joyous evermore.
