NEWELL, Fern Iris - Peacefully, with her family by her side at Niagara On The Lake General Hospital on Sunday, January 6, 2008, aged 67 years. Wife of the late Trevor (2000) and dear mother of Jack and Laurie Peets, Rick Peets and Jeff Newell and Tamara Meeboer. Loved grandmother of Vivian, Anthony and Abigal. Sister of Allan and Janice Laliberty and Denis Laliberty and Jeanette. Also survived by brother in law Brad and Carol Newell and their children Brant and Lindsay and as well as many nieces and nephews. The family especially thanks the staff and caregivers of Brain Injury Services of Hamilton (formerly Anagram) and the staff of the Niagara On The Lake Hospital. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Wednesday 7-8:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, January 10th at 10:30 am. Interment following at Lane's Cemetery, St. Anns.
