WALSH, Gladys (nee McMullen) - Passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital on January 4, 2008, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Thomas Walsh for 57 years. Cherished mother to Thomas, Patrick and Ellen DiFranco. Nan to Melissa and Matthew DiFranco. Special sister to Mary Walsh and her sister-in-law Winnifred McMullen. Gladys is also survived by many relatives in North Augusta. Predeceased by her 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and by her parents Anna, Charles McMullen and Gerald Dean. Mrs. Walsh is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 from 9am- 10:45am. A celebration of Gladys' life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
