Wilfred Sopchyshyn February 25, 1914 - April 19, 2004 SOPCHYSHYN, Wilfred On Monday, April 19,2004 Wilfred Sopchyshyn of Edmonton passed away at the age of 90 years. Wilfred is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Olga Helen, son Clinton and daughter-in-law Geneva, sister Caroline Sawchuk as well as numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many dear friends, former teaching colleagues and business associates. Wilfred was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary, brothers Tom, Nick and Charles, sisters Annie Tym, Frances Kierstead, Annette Woroschuk and Marcella Rawluk. The family wishes to thank St. Anthony’s Parish, Newman Theological College and St. Joseph Seminary, Edmonton Catholic A.T.A Local #54 and Edmonton District Optimist Clubs for their prayers and kind support during Wilfred’s post-stroke days. Prayers 7:00 pm Thursday, April 22 at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church 10661-82 Avenue, Edmonton. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am Friday, April 23, 2004 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
