Albert E. Robichaud April 29, 1938 - April 19, 2004 The death of Albert Robichaud, 65, Edmond Street occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, April 19th, 2004 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in St. Charles NB, April 29th,1938, he was the son of the late Placide and Sylvie (Chevarie) Robichaud. Albert resided in Moncton for over 50 years, was employed as an industrial construction mechanic, and owner and operator of A&G Bakery Equipment Ltd. He was a very active member of Parish Notre Dame de La Paix, a devoted member of The Knights of Columbus 4th degree, past Grand Knight and an active Member of Council 11985. He loved his grand kids, playing cards, his garden, and his tractor. Albert is survived by his wife of 45 years Mathilda (Doucette) Robichaud, sons, Paul (Audrey) of Moncton, Guy, Monteagle, Gaston, of Moncton, daughters, Liette Collier (Ivan) of Colpitts Settlement, Janice Robichaud (Terry Chiasson) Lutes Mountain, Josette Robichaud, (Robert Wheatly) Maryland, USA, 5 grandchildren, Amanda & Shannon, Gary & Karyn, and Anthony. Also surviving, his special mother-in-law Yvonne Doucette, several brothers; Azade, Zoel, (Therese) of Montreal, Ben (Aggie) Roger (Diane)of Truro, Vital (Norma), Camille, (Lorraine) Sylvio (Claudette) of Moncton, Ernest (Dora) of St.-Paul, sisters; Venolia Fontaine (Arcade) St- Louis, Placidie Kelly (Jean-Paul LeBlanc) François Coster, (Kenney) of Moncton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, a sister Elodie Gallant, an infant sister, Placidie, brothers, Alderic and Placide. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Wednesday, April 21, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9pm, and Thursday morning from 9am until departure. The funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de La Paix Murphy Ave. & Vail St, on Thursday April 22, at 11 am. followed by a reception at the Center Patrice Leblanc, 91 Murphy Ave. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations, in lieu of flowers may be made to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation, (Palliative care), The Dr. G. L. Dumont Hospital Foundation, (Oncology) or the Canadian Cancer Society.
