GIETZ, Richard J. Peacefully on December 29, 2007 at the Elisabeth Bruyere Palliative Care Unit at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Rowan). Loving father of Laura Jones (Kenneth), Matthew and Ellen. Grandfather of Conor and Ella Jones. Survived by his brothers; Eric and Edmund (Chris) and a sister Marnie. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters in-law and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the many members of the health team of the Oncology Unit at the General Hospital and the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre. Friends may pay their respects at Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St-Joseph Blvd., Orleans on Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to St-Margaret Mary's Catholic Church in Cumberland for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Dale Cemetery in Cumberland.
