BLAIR, Marjorie Helen (nee Dawson) We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister in hospital on January 1, 2008 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of 40 years of the late Daulphin Robert (Doc) Blair (deceased 1980) and much loved mother of Pollyanne Brown (David) of Ottawa and Bryan Blair (Tracy) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Cherished nana of Debora Brown Scandiffio (Michael), Kelly Steele (James) of Ottawa and Madison Blair of Winston-Salem. Adored great-grandmother to Brandon, Hunter and Ryan Steele and Nicholas Scandiffio. Survived by sisters Rita Cavan and Eileen Dawson of Ottawa. Predeceased by parents Margaret Ann (nee O'Rourke) and Joseph Dawson, as well as siblings Gerald and Harold Dawson and Mary Joan Howatt. Marjorie lived a long and fulfilling life and touched the hearts of many with her kindness and the warmth of her ever-present smile. We will continue to cherish every memory of our time with her and she will forever remain our inspiration. A Memorial Mass will be held at Annunciation of The Lord Roman Catholic Church, 2414 Ogilvie Road, Gloucester on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 11 a.m. Reception following in the church hall. Private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Arthritis Society would be kindly appreciated. We wish to express our deep appreciation to the staff and residents of the Amica at Bearbrooke Residence for the compassionate care and friendship which Marjorie enjoyed there for the past five years.
