Ronald K. LYNCH

LYNCH, Ronald K. (Ottawa Board of Education and Ottawa-Carleton District School Board - Retired) Suddenly at home on Friday, January 4, 2008. Beloved spouse of Carolyne (nee Ardley). Adored father of Johnathan (Shae) and devoted Poppa to Isabella Lynch. Dearest stepfather to David Murphy (Laurie) and Michael Murphy (Shannon). Loving Poppa Ron to Reace, Grace, Avery and Brighton Murphy. Survived by siblings David (Gillian), Bob (Diane), Douglas (Vicki) and Shirley Lynch. Ron devoted his life to the service of the children of Ottawa-Carleton as a Teacher, Principal, Superintendent, Assistant Director of Education and Interim Director of Education. He was a member of the Board of Directors for the Roberts Smart Centre, the Ottawa-Carleton Education Network and the Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre. Ron will be deeply missed by all his extended family, friends and colleagues. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Monday, January 7, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Emmanuel United Church, 691 Smyth Road.
